83 sourcesWVDEP's statewide AMLPoints ArcGIS layer inventories abandoned mine land problem points predating the 1977 Surface Mining Reclamation and Control Act, including portals, impoundments, hazardous equipment or facilities, polluted-water issues, water areas, and vertical openings.
Statewide point layer of contaminated sites with recorded Activity and Use Limitations restricting future property use.
Public statewide ArcGIS inventory of Arizona properties accepted into the ADEQ Brownfields Grant Program, including site identity, status, location, contamination, redevelopment, parcel, grantee, funding, and program dates.
NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) sites — the BCP slice (program_type=BCP) of NY Open Data's "Environmental Remediation Sites" dataset (Socrata c6ci-rzpg). 1,833 distinct brownfield sites statewide. The raw dataset is denormalized one row per site×operable-unit×contaminant (~67.7k BCP rows); fetch.py aggregates server-side via $group=program_number to one clean row per site. Each site is real property whose redevelopment may be complicated by hazardous waste/petroleum/contaminants — matching Chubb's BROWNFIELDS definition. Carries facility name, address, locality, county, ZIP, WGS84 lat/lon, and owner fields.
Statewide GIS inventory of selected vacant or underutilized commercial and industrial brownfield sites with suspected contamination.
Florida DEP ArcGIS layer of individual sites with executed Brownfield Site Rehabilitation Agreements, including site identity, address, county, district, acreage, agreement date, coordinates, remediation status, and supporting document links. This is the site layer, distinct from the broader Brownfield Areas designation layer.

NY DEC's Bulk Storage Facilities dataset (Socrata pteg-c78n), filtered to In Service tanks with an underground tank_location (including the literal 10%-below-grade regulatory threshold). Sibling to the Verified ny_dec__bulk_storage_aboveground_tanks source (same dataset, complementary tank_location filter). 20,690 rows — below the predicted band (24,000-56,000) but consistent with the AST sibling's real ~75/25 AST/UST split vs. the Tier-C prediction's assumed 50/50 split.
EPA "Cleanups in My Community" (CIMC) national Sites FeatureServer — spans Superfund/NPL, RCRA Corrective Action, Brownfields, Federal Facilities, and OSC removals with per-program institutional/engineering-control indicators. Multi-attribute source: US_INST_CONTROL (Integration 190) and US_ENG_CONTROLS (Integration 189). Distinct from state-level INST_CONTROL sources (e.g. ny_dec__institutional_controls) — this is the national counterpart, no overlap. Composite PK (REGISTRY_ID, SF_SITE_ID, RCRA_HANDLER_ID, BF_PROPERTY_ID, EPAOSC_SITE_ID). Caveat: SF_IC_IND uses an undocumented numeric code domain (1/2/3/4), no published legend found; non-blank treated as "IC tracked" as the most defensible fallback, could overcount ds_US_INST_CONTROL by up to ~516 rows — see .md for detail.
TCEQ Complaints — the named Texas Open Data (Socrata) dataset tdzs-qqjn (complaints received by TCEQ, tracked in the Consolidated Compliance and Enforcement Data System / CCEDS, keyed by complaint tracking number incid_track_num). 241,322 rows, full history. No street/city/state/ZIP/lat/lon fields exist in this dataset (only county and TCEQ region); ds_ address/location columns are all 0% fill, accepted by the developer since the COMPLAINTS attribute doesn't require location. ds_COMPLAINTS = true for every row.
TCEQ's Dry Cleaner Remediation Program (DCRP) contamination site tracker -- combines the Priority List (249 sites, active/postponed) and Closed Sites list (121 sites), unioned by fetch.py, matching the Prediction Notes' cumulative DCRP methodology. 370 statewide sites. Distinct from the Verified tx_tceq__operating_dry_cleaner_registrations source, which lists operating businesses, not contamination sites.
ADEQ's statewide ArcGIS layer of recorded Declaration of Environmental Use Restriction and Voluntary Environmental Mitigation Use Restriction sites, including institutional or engineering controls and site locations.
Statewide BRRTS listing of dry-cleaner facilities regardless of remediation status, with location and activity-detail links.
Statewide locations certified into or investigated by North Carolina’s Dry-Cleaning Solvent Cleanup Act remediation program, with site status and program contact information.
Florida DEP's Drycleaning Solvent Cleanup Program (DSCP) Priority Ranking List — a statewide Excel workbook listing every site the program has ever tracked for drycleaning-solvent contamination cleanup, stacked across five status sections (completed via Site Rehabilitation Completion Order, tasked to a state contractor, tasked for advanced/limited site assessment, and ranked in priority order awaiting action). 1,410 sites as of the 2026-07-09 revision. Republished periodically by FDEP with no fixed cadence.
New York remediation sites with engineering controls in place. From NYSDEC 'Environmental Remediation Sites' (data.ny.gov Socrata c6ci-rzpg, denormalized across BCP/VCP/ERP/HW/RCRA). Filtered to control_code='Environmental Easement' OR control_type='ENG' = 853 distinct sites (deduped to program_number). Site name, address, coordinates. Single-attribute: ENG_CONTROLS. Pure institutional-control sites (deed restriction/notice only) excluded — they belong to the separate AUL attribute.
New York State DEC Environmental Remediation Sites dataset published on the NY Open Data portal via the Socrata SODA API. Filtered to program_type='HW' (State Superfund / Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites), this Source provides site name, address, county, municipality, site classification, and program status for all HW-program sites statewide. Coordinates are included for the majority of sites. Fetched as paginated JSON and conformed to the ds_ scheme with ds_HWS presence boolean.
FDEP's 'ERIC PFAS Sites' layer -- a pre-filtered cross-program extract of FDEP's master contaminated-site database (ERIC), scoped to sites where PFAS is the identified contaminant of concern, carrying a Rule 62-780 F.A.C. contamination classification field. 253 statewide sites across 7 FDEP cleanup programs. Note: the prediction was based on well/surface-water sampling-point populations, a different dataset type than this site-cleanup inventory; developer reviewed and accepted the resulting undercount.
EPA's Federal Agency Hazardous Waste Compliance Docket is a quarterly public master list of federal facilities that manage or have managed hazardous waste, or where hazardous substances have been released. The FEDFacts Qlik Engine API emits one row per docket facility with EPA identifier, facility and agency identity, location, reporting mechanism, docket status, NPL/non-NPL cleanup classifications, and date added. The integrated conformed output also emits standardized address columns and a FEDERAL_FACILITY flag for all 2,392 records.

Hazardous-waste and state cleanup sites selected from MDE’s Land Restoration Program layer.
NY DEC's shared Environmental Remediation Sites Socrata dataset (c6ci-rzpg), filtered via a facility-name substring heuristic (MGP/MANUFACTURED GAS/GAS WORKS/GAS LIGHT) since DEC publishes no dedicated MGP dataset or program_type flag. 225 program-enrollment rows (HW 140/VCP 64/BCP 20/ERP 1) across 186 distinct physical MGP sites statewide; the raw undeduplicated count was chosen over the site-deduplicated count to avoid inventing a cross-program dedup key DEC doesn't provide.
Brownfield-flagged sites from MDE’s Land Restoration Program sites layer.
Statewide point inventory of North Carolina Brownfields Program projects, including site identity, location, acreage, status, status date, and program links.
Published compilation of registered, suspected illegal, and pre-regulatory landfill sites in New Jersey.

Public case-search application for open and closed Maryland Oil Control Program cases.
OSMRE's national e-AMLIS product identifies abandoned mine land problem points reported by states, territories, tribes, and federal programs. The integrated ArcGIS product emits WGS84 coordinates, AMLIS and ArcGIS identifiers, problem type, funding program, planning unit, problem area, USGS quadrangle, county, reclamation status, and a normalized abandoned-mines indicator. It provides no street-address fields.
FDEP's statewide "Petroleum Contamination Monitoring (PCTS) Discharges from STCM" ArcGIS layer — the structured/queryable equivalent of FDEP's "Discharge Cleanup Summary" web report named in the Prediction Notes. Covers all storage-tank petroleum discharge/incident records tracked in the STCM database: 38,677 records as of 2026-07-13, across 27,800 distinct facilities. This layer is FDEP's full storage-tank contamination inventory — it is NOT exclusively scoped to underground tanks, and no FDEP field reliably distinguishes UST from AST discharges at the record level (ELIGIBILITY_PROGRAM is a funding-eligibility code, not a tank-type flag; FACILITY_TYPE doesn't cleanly split either, though ~92% of rows are UST-typical facility types like Retail Station and Fuel user/Non-retail). Fetched fully unfiltered; every row is marked ds_LUST=true per explicit developer confirmation, consistent with how the sibling ga_epd/de_dnrec/az_deq LUST Sources treat their state UST-cleanup registries as the LUST proxy. See the source .md for the full UST-vs-AST scoping discussion.
VA DEQ EDMA ArcGIS layer 104, "Petroleum Releases (Daily)" — one row per release case (combined UST+AST), keyed on composite (RST_ID, PCNUM). Full historical archive since program inception (98.4% Closed cases). Distinct from the sibling va_deq registration sources (registered_ust_facilities/registered_ast_facilities are tank registrations, not releases) and from the general spill dataset (va_deq__prep_pollution_reports).
EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Federal Sites' layer (PAT_Federal_Sites, FeatureServer layer 13), the full unfiltered nationwide roster of federal facilities (DoD, DOE, NASA, DOT, federal Superfund) with known/suspected/pending PFAS assessment. 762 sites nationwide. No street address exists upstream; near-complete coordinate coverage. A sibling Source, us_epa__pfas_federal_sites_tx, queries the same layer filtered to Texas only for a different Attribute (AQUEOUS_FOAM) -- neither supersedes the other.
Texas AFFF sites (AQUEOUS_FOAM) = 35 federal (DoD/DOE) installations with PFAS presence (from Aqueous Film Forming Foam use), from EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Federal Sites' layer (PAT_Federal_Sites, FeatureServer/13) filtered to State='TX'. Sourced federally because TX TCEQ maintains NO dedicated AFFF inventory (confirmed: no PFAS/AFFF layer on gisweb.tceq.texas.gov, none on data.texas.gov). Same source family as the Verified us_epa__pfas_afff / us_epa__pfas_npl_sites / us_epa__pfas_tsca sources. Coordinate-only (installation centroids; layer has no street/city/zip): ds_lat/lon 100% (all in TX bbox) → Fit; ds_state='TX' constant. Composition: Air Force 12, Army 13, Navy 7, DOE 3; PFAS_Presence Known 16 / Suspected 14 / Pending 2 / blank 3. Within predicted band 15-85. DoD-only — excludes civilian airport/fire-training AFFF sites (TX publishes none).
EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools Superfund layer identifies National Priorities List sites with reported PFAS detections. The integrated product filters the ArcGIS layer to NPL_Site=Yes and emits 464 site records with EPA identifiers, names, addresses, coordinates, NPL status, site type, program context, and profile links. It preserves the 18 fetched ArcGIS attributes and adds seven normalized location and PFAS indicator columns.

FL DEP's regulated Underground Storage Tank (UST) facility registry, from the STCM 'RegTankUst' public report (looped over all 67 counties, tank-level, 21,606 tank rows aggregated to 9,420 distinct facilities by FAC_ID). Coordinates joined by FACILITY_ID from FDEP's STCM 'Registered Tanks' ArcGIS layer (100% matched). Direct UST sibling of the Verified fl_dep__regulated_ast Source (#244), same facility-level aggregation design. Single-attribute: UST.
Statewide point inventory of Indiana brownfield sites and program assistance history.
Florida DEP's 'ERIC Waste Cleanup' master cleanup-site database (Division of Waste Management, CLEANUP_SP MapServer layer 8), filtered to PROGRAM_TYPE='RESPONSPARTY' (Responsible Party Cleanup) -- sites where a legally responsible party, not the state, is conducting or funding cleanup. Covers 8,192 open, closed, on-hold, and unconditionally-closed sites statewide with address, county, discharge date, and WGS84 point coordinates (server-side reprojection of native geometry, not geocoded). Same shared MapServer as sibling fl_dep Sources filtered to other PROGRAM_TYPE values (HWS, VCP).

Historical roster of Indiana State Cleanup Program sites and contaminants.
Florida DEP State and Tribal Response Program (SRP) sites — 88 sites (closed + active), sourced as FL's voluntary-cleanup (VCP) inventory. FL has no standalone Voluntary Cleanup Program dataset; its voluntary-cleanup construct is the VCTC tax credit (drycleaner + brownfield sites, sourced separately; no public VCTC site list), so the closest formal FL bucket — the EPA CERCLA §128(a) State & Tribal Response Program — is used. Fetched from FDEP's ERIC Waste Cleanup layer (CLEANUP_SP/MapServer/8) filtered server-side to PROGRAM_TYPE='SRP'. Coords from point geometry (signed WGS84), NOT the unsigned DMS columns. ds_street 94.3% / ds_city 100% / ds_lat-lon 100% → Fit.
FDEP STCM "All Facilities and LatLong Information" report, all 67 counties, joined against the DWM_STCM ArcGIS layer for signed WGS84 coordinates. Full lifetime tank-facility registry, all statuses (OPEN/CLOSED/ABANDONED). One row per FAC_ID, verified zero duplicates. Deliberately independent of the 3 Verified fl_dep sources on the same STCM system (regulated_ust, regulated_ast, leaking_ast) — none covers the full any-status roster; this Source accepts overlap rather than reopening Customer-signed-off deliverables. Same pattern as ny_dec__pbs_tanks (Integration 264).
Confirmed tank release incidents since 1989, collapsed to incident grain and scoped to incidents referencing underground tanks.
EPA's quarterly Facility Registry Service Interests download exposes the SEMS layer as an ESRI file geodatabase containing active, non-archived Superfund sites nationwide. The integrated product emits normalized address and NAD83 coordinate columns, a SEMS indicator, and the underlying facility identity, location, NPL status, federal ownership, EPA region, and program-interest metadata. It can be consumed as a complete bulk layer or queried through the documented ArcGIS FeatureServer fallback.
EPA's quarterly, nationwide ArcGIS dataset identifies Superfund sites that are listed on, proposed for, or deleted from the National Priorities List. The integrated product emits NPL, PROPOSED_NPL, and DELISTED_NPL status indicators for approximately 1,840 records and supplies WGS84 coordinates and city/state location context, but no street address or postal code. EPA states that the upstream layer is sourced from Hazard Ranking System and NPL listing documentation; the candidate notes that the integrated source is sourced from SEMS.

The full report includes confirmed-release projects and clean or unconfirmed closures.
EPA's national UST Finder ArcGIS FeatureServer (Releases layer), server-side filtered to Maryland releases reported before 1999-01-01 — the frozen pre-1999 slice of MDE's legacy 'Recovery Sites Database,' distinct from MDE's live OCP case system (already covered by md_mde__ocp_case_search). 4,543 rows, no auth, paginated via resultOffset/resultRecordCount. Note: this data overlaps with the separately-scoped us_epa__ust_finder source — both draw from what is verifiably the same underlying UST Finder Releases dataset (published via two distinct-but-data-identical ArcGIS items), and this Maryland/pre-1999 slice is fully reproducible by filtering us_epa__ust_finder's fetched output. Kept as an isolated single-attribute source per the developer's explicit decision (Integration 216) rather than folded into the multi-attribute us_epa__ust_finder source.
