195 sourcesPublic NHDES ArcGIS registry of aboveground storage tanks and their facilities, with tank identifiers, facility type, address, coordinates, and OneStop links.
WVDEP statewide Aboveground Storage Tank registry published as the AstAll ArcGIS feature layer. Tank-level records identify the permit/site, owner, county, regulatory tier and status, capacity, substances, oil-and-gas indicator, source-water context, and coordinates.
Global event-level living dataset of reported political violence, demonstrations (including protests and riots), and selected strategic developments. Available through an authenticated API in JSON, CSV, and XML and through account-gated export/download surfaces, with arbitrary country, administrative-area, location, date, taxonomy, actor, and other filters. Event rows are revised as better information appears; row timestamp, response update metadata, and a coordinated deleted-event endpoint support refreshes, but ACLED no longer publishes formal dataset versions after Version 8. This Source excludes CAST forecasts, Trends risk intelligence, alerts, Explorer summaries, and other modeled products. It is not a verified property-loss record: property effects are explicit only where the taxonomy or notes report them.
EPA's dedicated ACRES (Assessment, Cleanup and Redevelopment Exchange System) Brownfields properties layer, published via the FRS Geospatial Data Download service as the single-program ArcGIS FeatureServer `FRS_INTERESTS_ACRES` (same family as FRS_INTERESTS_AIR). Every record is a Brownfields property assessed or cleaned up with EPA Brownfields grant funding or via an EPA Regional Targeted Brownfields Assessment (PGM_SYS_ACRNM='ACRES', INTEREST_TYPE='BROWNFIELDS PROPERTY' on all rows). Distinct from and fuller than the Brownfields subset already carried by us_epa__cimc_sites, which per EPA's own documentation only includes grant-funded properties visible through the separate Cleanups in My Community tool. Fetched live: 44,235 properties nationwide, within the Integration's predicted 35,000-65,000 band. ds_street fill 99.94%, ds_lat/ds_lon fill 100% -- Fit rating.

Official City of Los Angeles open-data product exposing LADBS Certificate of Occupancy records through dataset 3f9m-afei, an anonymous SODA API, and downloadable full files. Rows carry CofO number, issue date, latest certificate status and status-effective date; assessor book/page/parcel, legal-description and street-address keys; the related PCIS permit; permit and building facts; and, where populated, an `occupancy` value explicitly defined as the approved use for the structure. Public metadata identifies LADBS, official provenance, CC0 1.0 dedication, a weekly committed refresh, and data updated 2026-08-17; the checked live data contained 128,551 rows with CofO issue dates from 2005-01-26 through 2026-08-14. This is a certificate-record dataset, not proof of present operations: 82.89% of checked rows have null occupancy, no separate certificate-type or successor identifier is emitted, and current interpretation must be pinned to `cofo_issue_date`, `status_date`, `latest_status`, and the dataset-level source vintage.
Coordinated historical NYC Open Data schema family comprising Bureau of Fire Prevention Inspections (ssq6-fkht), Active Violation Orders (bi53-yph3), and Building Summary (nvgj-hbht). Anonymous SODA and CSV access support arbitrary NYC BIN, BBL, and premises-address retrieval. The modules preserve account-level latest inspection status, open violation-order codes/descriptions, and building-level sprinkler/standpipe descriptors and open-violation counts. All are frozen snapshots: the source database was decommissioned, no new data will be added, and rows were last updated on 2019-03-07. The Source must never be represented as current compliance, completed correction, current resistance, or system operability evidence.
NDEP Bureau of Water Pollution Control's public BWPC_ActivePermits ArcGIS layer, restricted to currently issued Major NPDES and Minor NPDES permits (PERMITSTAT='PRMTISS'). It excludes the separate Groundwater permit category, terminated NPDES records, and facilities covered only by stormwater general permits; the filtered endpoint returned 93 records during harvest and publishes facility addresses and coordinates.
Permits issued by the Department of Environment (DOE) from January 1993 to December 31, 2011 and by the Department of Public Health (CDPH) since January 1, 2012. This dataset also includes tank permits issued by CDPH on behalf of the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshall (OSFM). On January 1, 2012, the DOE was disbanded and all its inspection, permitting, and enforcement authorities were transferred to the CDPH. The public Chicago Data Portal provides API access and downloadable exports, with daily updates.
Florida DEP CHAZ (Compliance Hazardous Assessment Zone) MapServer layer 5, filtered to GENERATOR IN ('SQG','CES'). Covers 23,496 statewide Florida facilities classified as Small Quantity Generators (SQG, 100-1,000 kg/month RCRA hazardous waste) and Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CES, <100 kg/month) from the county SQG Assessment, Notification and Verification Program. Supplies both HAZ_WASTE and HW_GEN attributes: every record is both a hazardous waste generator (HAZ_WASTE) and a county HW generator survey participant (HW_GEN). Fetched via paginated ArcGIS REST/JSON with WGS84 geometry; street address and coordinates are fully populated (100% fill rate).
Official City of Chicago open dataset, anonymous SODA API, and full-file download of Department of Buildings violations issued from January 1, 2006 to present. Records are updated daily and include the violation code, corresponding authority description and ordinance text, violation and status dates, inspection context, address, a property-group lot key, and coordinates. The City cautions that the records are historical and informational, may include liable and not-liable cases, do not necessarily reflect current building/property condition, and should not be used as the authoritative outstanding-enforcement record for real-estate transactions.
EPA "Cleanups in My Community" (CIMC) national Sites FeatureServer — spans Superfund/NPL, RCRA Corrective Action, Brownfields, Federal Facilities, and OSC removals with per-program institutional/engineering-control indicators. Multi-attribute source: US_INST_CONTROL (Integration 190) and US_ENG_CONTROLS (Integration 189). Distinct from state-level INST_CONTROL sources (e.g. ny_dec__institutional_controls) — this is the national counterpart, no overlap. Composite PK (REGISTRY_ID, SF_SITE_ID, RCRA_HANDLER_ID, BF_PROPERTY_ID, EPAOSC_SITE_ID). Caveat: SF_IC_IND uses an undocumented numeric code domain (1/2/3/4), no published legend found; non-blank treated as "IC tracked" as the most defensible fallback, could overcount ds_US_INST_CONTROL by up to ~516 rows — see .md for detail.
TCEQ HB 2537 (1993) Closed & Abandoned UNNUMBERED Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Inventory = 2,772 old/closed unnumbered MSW landfills operated before permits were required, plus unauthorized landfills and illegal dumps — the HIST_LF attribute for TX. Single statewide Excel file (msw-unum-texas.xlsx) on the TCEQ MSW data page; NOT in any TCEQ GIS service or on data.texas.gov Socrata. Distinct from active permitted landfills (tx_tceq__active_landfills) and from closed NUMBERED/permitted facilities (msw-closed-facilities-texas.xls, not used — those had permits). Workbook row 1 is a provenance note; header is row 2 (fetch.py skips row 1). LOCATION (free-text locator) → ds_street 96.9%; LATIT_DD/LONGI_DD → ds_lat/lon 88.9% (309 rows carry a 0.0 null-island placeholder, blanked in conform, not fabricated); ds_state='TX' const; no city/zip cols. Fit (ds_street>90%). Count 2,772 ~6% under Tier-C predicted band (the '4,200' was the 1990s COG-located figure).

Authoritative list = FL DEP 'Fire Training Facility Site Assessments' page; each facility enriched with structured address + WGS84 coordinates from FL DEP's ERIC PFAS Sites ArcGIS layer (CLEANUP_SP layer 4, joined by ERIC_SITE_ID) where present, else from the facility's DEP detail page.
Official statewide database of voluntarily reported land-subsidence incidents maintained by the Florida Geological Survey. The current public ArcGIS point layer emits report identity, reported event and revision dates, verification code, coordinates and location precision, PLSS geography, report source/name, reported dimensions and site observations, repair/property-damage indicators, comments, and four related coded tables for topography, possible triggers, pre-collapse indicators, and land use. It is not a sinkhole-certification or hazard-prediction product: most incidents were not field checked, cause and many locations are unverified, and reporting is not mandatory or complete. The service exposed 4,443 records when checked; a latest reported-event date of 2026-08-01 was observed, but no fixed update cadence or database-wide currency/version field is documented and historic-moment queries are unsupported.
Commercial, non-contributory global POI API. Place Search retrieves ranked places for buyer-specified circles, rectangles, or geocodable localities; Get Place Details retrieves a stable FSQ Place by fsq_place_id. One Source includes coordinated Pro and paid Premium returnable fields.
Public global disaster-notification product exposed through standing RSS/CAP feeds and a documented REST API. The public feed emits event/episode identity, event interval, point, affected countries, tropical-cyclone maximum-wind severity, modification time and event version. It is automatic indicative event evidence, not a sovereign disaster declaration and not an insured-loss product.
Open worldwide machine-coded news-event metadata beginning with the GDELT 2.0 raw stream on 2015-02-18. The coordinated product comprises the 61-field Events table and 16-field Mentions table, published as 15-minute tab-delimited ZIP files and queryable in Google BigQuery. Events encode two actors, a CAMEO action, three geographies, media-coverage measures, ingest time, and first source URL; Mentions encode each article mention, extraction confidence, article position, source identity, tone, and translation metadata. It is a media-derived event index, not a verified incident-observation database. Event-table legacy coverage measures are fixed to the first 15-minute update; later discussion is emitted as new Mentions rows rather than revisions to the Event row.
Paid web service converting buyer-supplied addresses to coordinates and place IDs and coordinates or place IDs to formatted addresses. Coverage and result quality vary by country and location.
Commercial US property lookup returning parcel, ownership, transaction, location, and building-characteristic data by address or property identifier.
Event-level downloadable data file covering more than 200,000 domestic and transnational terrorist incidents worldwide from 1970 through 2020, with no incident file for 1993. The latest page citation is the 2022 release. Raw data are obtained after a brief active download form. Ordinary terms permit non-commercial research and analysis; commercial use requires an additional agreement. Collection stopped after partial 2021 work for lack of funding, so there is no promised current release cadence. START may correct records when new documentation appears and has no obligation to update.
Commercial bearer-token API for location-first U.S. negotiated rates.
Commercial GET /hail API for continuously updated hail history at an arbitrary U.S. or southern-Canada point selected by coordinates or street address. The linked public schema emits location metadata, requested date range and radius, plus hail-occurrence dates and daily maximum hail size. Current first-party pages conflict on archive depth (the schema says history to 2012, the insurance page says seven years, and the retail report page says 2018 to present), so no fixed archive start is asserted.

South Carolina subset of the federal National Response Center (NRC) oil/chemical/hazmat incident-report archive (USCG). Full archive 1990-2025, filtered to LOCATION_STATE='SC' from the per-year NRC FOIA workbooks (INCIDENT_COMMONS sheet). 12,596 reports. Provider divergence: Integration 114 is keyed to sc_des, but SC DES's Oil & Chemical Emergency Response division takes reports by phone and publishes no public spill dataset (no data.sc.gov dataset; gis.des.sc.gov Emergency_Response folder has only a physiographic map; SC DHEC AGOL org has only aggregated count layers), so the authoritative downloadable source is the federal NRC (us_uscg_nrc). Each record: incident date, type, cause, description, location address/city/county/zip, and (rarely) lat/lon. NRC posts initial, unvalidated reports.
Statewide industrial-facility search results for facilities with Wisconsin industrial storm-water general permit coverage.

Official City of Los Angeles open-data product exposing soft-story-related permit and permit-application records through a dedicated Socrata catalog asset (nc44-6znn), API, and downloadable files. It contains parcel/address keys, permit identifiers, issue and status dates, permit status/type/category, work description, building attributes, and related permit-party fields. The product is limited to City of Los Angeles permit records selected into this soft-story view; it is not the mandatory programme's full building inventory. Metadata commits to weekly refresh, but the data was last updated 2023-05-22 and the latest row dates are 2023-05-19, so consumers must pin results to that source vintage. Permit issuance, `CofC Issued`, `Permit Finaled`, or absence of a record must not be interpreted as current structural safety, retrofit design adequacy, or complete ordinance compliance without an official status definition and newer authority evidence.
Wisconsin registry of current and historic landfill and waste-disposal activity locations.
Public EDMS index of asbestos demolition and renovation notification lifecycle documents, filtered to Asbestos media and ADVF subtype and joined to LDEQ Agency Interest facility records for location context.

Florida DEP STCM "Leaking Aboveground Storage Tank Site Locations" report — the authoritative, purpose-built dataset for facilities with an aboveground tank and a recorded discharge. Fetched per-county across all 67 counties (POST cid+query_cid, same session-cookie pattern as the sibling fl_dep__regulated_ast/fl_dep__regulated_ust reports) and aggregated from 6,518 tank-substance-component rows to 1,473 distinct facilities by FAC_ID. Latitude/Longitude are published directly on the report in unsigned DMS format and converted to decimal degrees by fetch.py (no ArcGIS join needed). FDEP's own PLACEMENT column splits every facility into "AST Only" or "AST UST" (also has an underground tank) since STCM cannot attribute a discharge to a specific tank — both values qualify for ds_LAST=true. Single-attribute source: LAST.
Illinois EPA statewide ArcGIS layer of leaking underground storage tank incidents, including site identifiers, location, responsible project contacts, and resolution-related dates.
Statewide GIS registry of leaking underground storage tank incidents and sites.
All leaking underground storage tank incidents published by DC DOEE through the DC GIS feature layer, from historical records through the present. One contracted HailStrike OneSite report family, not separate Sources for Basic, Lite and Full tiers. A buyer can order an unrelated site report directly, and the publisher offers high-volume orders for hundreds or thousands of locations. Public materials and samples emit location-attributed hail dates, estimated hail size, a defined 1–10 Derived Hail Index, storm movement, wind-gust history, NEXRAD station provenance, report issue/version and verification identifiers. Public pages conflict on history depth (five years, ten years, or storms since 2011), so no universal archive start is asserted. The product does not establish tornado or tropical-cyclone outputs.

EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools republishes National Response Center spill reports through the PAT_Spills ArcGIS layer. This integrated source filters Material_Involved for AFFF or FOAM and emits incident identifiers, dates, quantities, materials, narratives, responsible parties, causes, water impacts, raw and geocoded locations, and relative-location descriptors. Its conformed output adds normalized address and coordinate columns plus an AQUEOUS_FOAM_NRC indicator on every selected row.
NPDES permittees with PFAS discharge monitoring or effluent limits, sourced from EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Discharge Monitoring Reports' layer (ArcGIS FeatureServer layer 15, PAT_Discharge_Monitoring_Reports), itself built from ICIS-NPDES DMR data already restricted upstream to PFAS-family parameters. The raw layer is 96,155 monitoring-event rows (facility x outfall x PFAS parameter x year); fetch.py aggregates client-side to one row per unique NPDES_Permit_Number (1,110 permittees), rolling up distinct parameters monitored, whether any parameter carries an effluent limit, most recent monitoring year, and outfall count. No street address or ZIP is published by this dataset; location is carried by lat/lon (99.91% fill).
EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Federal Sites' layer (PAT_Federal_Sites, FeatureServer layer 13), the full unfiltered nationwide roster of federal facilities (DoD, DOE, NASA, DOT, federal Superfund) with known/suspected/pending PFAS assessment. 762 sites nationwide. No street address exists upstream; near-complete coordinate coverage. A sibling Source, us_epa__pfas_federal_sites_tx, queries the same layer filtered to Texas only for a different Attribute (AQUEOUS_FOAM) -- neither supersedes the other.
Texas AFFF sites (AQUEOUS_FOAM) = 35 federal (DoD/DOE) installations with PFAS presence (from Aqueous Film Forming Foam use), from EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Federal Sites' layer (PAT_Federal_Sites, FeatureServer/13) filtered to State='TX'. Sourced federally because TX TCEQ maintains NO dedicated AFFF inventory (confirmed: no PFAS/AFFF layer on gisweb.tceq.texas.gov, none on data.texas.gov). Same source family as the Verified us_epa__pfas_afff / us_epa__pfas_npl_sites / us_epa__pfas_tsca sources. Coordinate-only (installation centroids; layer has no street/city/zip): ds_lat/lon 100% (all in TX bbox) → Fit; ds_state='TX' constant. Composition: Air Force 12, Army 13, Navy 7, DOE 3; PFAS_Presence Known 16 / Suspected 14 / Pending 2 / blank 3. Within predicted band 15-85. DoD-only — excludes civilian airport/fire-training AFFF sites (TX publishes none).
EPA PFAS Analytic Tools 'Industry Sectors' layer (PAT_Industry_Sectors, layer 3 of the public PFAS_Analytic_Tools_Layers ArcGIS FeatureServer) -- facilities with federal CAA/CWA/RCRA permits operating in industry sectors that literature review indicates may handle or release PFAS, per EPA's ECHO methodology. This is the live feed backing the interactive PFAS Analytic Tools dashboard's Industry Sectors tab. 714 facilities as of 2026-08-12, dominated by Part 139 airports (536) plus smaller NAICS/SIC-driven categories (waste management, chemical manufacturing, printing, metal coating, etc.). Note: this live layer is significantly narrower than the ~120,000-facility figure cited in EPA's marketing description of the tab's methodology -- see the Source .md for full reconciliation.
EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools Superfund layer identifies National Priorities List sites with reported PFAS detections. The integrated product filters the ArcGIS layer to NPL_Site=Yes and emits 464 site records with EPA identifiers, names, addresses, coordinates, NPL status, site type, program context, and profile links. It preserves the 18 fetched ArcGIS attributes and adds seven normalized location and PFAS indicator columns.

EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools 'Toxics Release Inventory' Waste Management layer (PAT_TRI_Waste_Management, FeatureServer layer 5) -- TRI Form R Section 8 waste-management line items for PFAS and other TRI-listed fluorinated organics. 1,895 rows / 127 unique TRI facilities nationwide, reporting years 2015-2024. Picked over the sibling On-Site Releases layer (layer 6), which is the more literal match but currently returns almost no live data (EPA-side refresh gap).
EPA Chemical Data Reporting and legacy Inventory Update Reporting manufacture/import records filtered to chemicals on EPA Substance Registry Service list 490, the strict TSCA §8(a)(7) PFAS list. The integrated product emits one row per facility, chemical, and reporting cycle across 1998–2024, with normalized address and available coordinates plus the preserved unified reporting fields. Confidential chemical identifiers without a public CAS number cannot be matched to the PFAS list, and coordinate coverage is limited to cycles that publish coordinates.
ADEQ's "AQD Permits" ArcGIS FeatureServer layer (owner adeq_gisnp) — a facility ("Place") level registry of Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Air Quality Division permitted sources, statewide except Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal counties (which run their own delegated air-permitting programs). Each of the 408 rows is a permitted facility classified via STATE_CLAS as Major Source, Minor source, or Synthetic Minor (two sub-variants) — matching the Chubb Description's major (>100 tons) / minor (<100 tons) criteria pollutant threshold almost verbatim. Regenerated daily per ADEQ's own Hub listing. No address fields are published (only LATITUDE/LONGITUDE); ds_street/ds_city/ds_zip are always blank while ds_lat/ds_lon are 100% filled.
MDE’s statewide list of individually tracked permitted discharge and outfall locations.
TCEQ's Point Source Emissions Inventory, drawn from the State of Texas Air Reporting System (STARS): an annual survey of chemical plants, refineries, electric utilities, and other industrial sites that meet the emissions-reporting threshold under 30 TAC 101.10. Each row is a (regulated entity, reporting year) observation carrying the company/account identity, site location, and site-wide annual tons-per-year emissions for the EPA criteria pollutants (CO, NOx, Pb, PM, PM10, PM2.5, SO2, VOC). The multi-year state-summary workbook (2010-2024, 28,867 rows) is fetched in full and covers only the AIRS Attribute for Texas.

Official Mandatory Soft Story Program dataset with one property row keyed by assessor block, lot, parcel number and address. It publishes the four programme tiers and a current programme status string, plus point geography and source/portal timestamps. It does not publish a separate engineering deficiency, retrofit permit identifier, completion date, or present-resistance certification; status values such as “Work Complete, CFC Issued” must remain authority programme statuses rather than derived safety findings. Portal metadata says weekly change and publication frequency. The live dataset contained 4,945 rows and a uniform data_as_of of 2025-07-31T01:02:58.134 when checked, so the stated weekly cadence and observed currency must both be retained.

Open, event-specific satellite-derived building-damage point-vector releases for selected disaster areas. Current releases expose GDB/SHP full files with building-point geometry, observation date and sensor, confidence, field-validation status, damage class, settlement, event code and notes. Release pages pin pre/post imagery, publication/version and caveats. Coverage exists only where UNOSAT has produced an activation/release; it is not a global arbitrary-address lookup and findings are preliminary, visible-structural-damage observations rather than field inspections.
Open longitudinal building-point damage assessments issued under UNOSAT's explicit Comprehensive Damage Assessment name. The current Gaza release carries fourteen observation snapshots with sensor date, sensor code, confidence code and damage class, thirteen change/status fields, final grouped class, field validation, notes, administrative geography and event code. It is a separately named and materially different schema family, not a release instance of the standard 11-column product.

EPA's national UST Finder ArcGIS FeatureServer (Releases layer), server-side filtered to Maryland releases reported before 1999-01-01 — the frozen pre-1999 slice of MDE's legacy 'Recovery Sites Database,' distinct from MDE's live OCP case system (already covered by md_mde__ocp_case_search). 4,543 rows, no auth, paginated via resultOffset/resultRecordCount. Note: this data overlaps with the separately-scoped us_epa__ust_finder source — both draw from what is verifiably the same underlying UST Finder Releases dataset (published via two distinct-but-data-identical ArcGIS items), and this Maryland/pre-1999 slice is fully reproducible by filtering us_epa__ust_finder's fetched output. Kept as an isolated single-attribute source per the developer's explicit decision (Integration 216) rather than folded into the multi-attribute us_epa__ust_finder source.
EPA's national UST Finder ArcGIS FeatureServer (Releases layer, item US_Underground_Storage_Tank_2019), server-side filtered to State='New Jersey' — 16,816 leaking underground storage tank (LUST) release records covering New Jersey's full release history regardless of status (4,672 Open, 12,144 No Further Action/closed). This is a NJ-filtered slice of EPA's UST Finder Releases dataset, not a source published directly by NJDEP; NJDEP's own DataMiner LUST portal was investigated first and abandoned due to an hCaptcha wall with no programmatic bypass. Note: this data has been verified to overlap byte-for-byte (identical LUST_ID sets) with the separately-scoped us_epa__ust_finder source, which draws from a newer-but-data-identical ArcGIS item (UST_Finder_Feature_Layer_2). Kept as a standalone single-attribute source per established developer precedent (Integrations 216/294) rather than folded into the multi-attribute source.
