Environmental site lifecycle date
A date marking a stated start, completion, closure, archive, approval, or status transition for an environmental site or cleanup matter.
Sources that carry it
28 sourcesPA DEP completed land-recycling activity rows limited to Act 2 deed-acknowledgment remediation standards, with site location and approval context.
Public statewide ArcGIS inventory of Arizona properties accepted into the ADEQ Brownfields Grant Program, including site identity, status, location, contamination, redevelopment, parcel, grantee, funding, and program dates.
Illinois EPA brownfields inventory of redevelopment and assessment sites, including program identifiers, property location, funding and investigation details, completion date, acreage, and contaminant category.
Wisconsin DNR BRRTS bulk facility-activity data for contaminated-property assessment, investigation, cleanup, and redevelopment activities. This source uses the public tab-delimited bulk export and focuses on ERP, LUST, and VPLE activity records; spill and no-action-required records are excluded from the candidate scope.
EPA "Cleanups in My Community" (CIMC) national Sites FeatureServer — spans Superfund/NPL, RCRA Corrective Action, Brownfields, Federal Facilities, and OSC removals with per-program institutional/engineering-control indicators. Multi-attribute source: US_INST_CONTROL (Integration 190) and US_ENG_CONTROLS (Integration 189). Distinct from state-level INST_CONTROL sources (e.g. ny_dec__institutional_controls) — this is the national counterpart, no overlap. Composite PK (REGISTRY_ID, SF_SITE_ID, RCRA_HANDLER_ID, BF_PROPERTY_ID, EPAOSC_SITE_ID). Caveat: SF_IC_IND uses an undocumented numeric code domain (1/2/3/4), no published legend found; non-blank treated as "IC tracked" as the most defensible fallback, could overcount ds_US_INST_CONTROL by up to ~516 rows — see .md for detail.
Public Maine DEP point inventory of closed and historical municipally owned or operated landfills and town dumps, with site identity, location, closure, description, and summary details. It excludes active or licensed solid-waste facilities.
ADEQ's statewide ArcGIS layer of recorded Declaration of Environmental Use Restriction and Voluntary Environmental Mitigation Use Restriction sites, including institutional or engineering controls and site locations.
FDEP's 'ERIC PFAS Sites' layer -- a pre-filtered cross-program extract of FDEP's master contaminated-site database (ERIC), scoped to sites where PFAS is the identified contaminant of concern, carrying a Rule 62-780 F.A.C. contamination classification field. 253 statewide sites across 7 FDEP cleanup programs. Note: the prediction was based on well/surface-water sampling-point populations, a different dataset type than this site-cleanup inventory; developer reviewed and accepted the resulting undercount.
Pennsylvania DEP's public Hazardous Site Response Actions List is an annually refreshed SSRS CSV report derived from eFACTS and covering hazardous-site response work since 1988. The integrated product filters the report to HSCA initiations and emits 1,554 response-action × environmental-medium × substance rows across about 489 sites. It preserves facility identity, owner/operator, address, coordinates, Pennsylvania Priority List dates, response actions, media, and contaminant columns, while prepending normalized location fields and an HSCA indicator.
New York environmental-remediation sites whose NYSDEC control_type is INST, including institutional controls such as environmental easements, deed restrictions, decision documents, and environmental notices.
NJDEP statewide inventory of active and pending sites with contamination above applicable cleanup criteria.
Statewide Act 2 completed-sites inventory at site grain, including contaminants, remediation standards, approvals, address, and coordinates.

Completed Act 2 sites filtered to those marked as having an activity and use limitation, with address and coordinates.
NY DEC's shared Environmental Remediation Sites Socrata dataset (c6ci-rzpg), filtered via a facility-name substring heuristic (MGP/MANUFACTURED GAS/GAS WORKS/GAS LIGHT) since DEC publishes no dedicated MGP dataset or program_type flag. 225 program-enrollment rows (HW 140/VCP 64/BCP 20/ERP 1) across 186 distinct physical MGP sites statewide; the raw undeduplicated count was chosen over the site-deduplicated count to avoid inventing a cross-program dedup key DEC doesn't provide.
Brownfield-flagged sites from MDE’s Land Restoration Program sites layer.
Statewide point inventory of North Carolina Brownfields Program projects, including site identity, location, acreage, status, status date, and program links.
Published compilation of registered, suspected illegal, and pre-regulatory landfill sites in New Jersey.
FDEP's statewide "Petroleum Contamination Monitoring (PCTS) Discharges from STCM" ArcGIS layer — the structured/queryable equivalent of FDEP's "Discharge Cleanup Summary" web report named in the Prediction Notes. Covers all storage-tank petroleum discharge/incident records tracked in the STCM database: 38,677 records as of 2026-07-13, across 27,800 distinct facilities. This layer is FDEP's full storage-tank contamination inventory — it is NOT exclusively scoped to underground tanks, and no FDEP field reliably distinguishes UST from AST discharges at the record level (ELIGIBILITY_PROGRAM is a funding-eligibility code, not a tank-type flag; FACILITY_TYPE doesn't cleanly split either, though ~92% of rows are UST-typical facility types like Retail Station and Fuel user/Non-retail). Fetched fully unfiltered; every row is marked ds_LUST=true per explicit developer confirmation, consistent with how the sibling ga_epd/de_dnrec/az_deq LUST Sources treat their state UST-cleanup registries as the LUST proxy. See the source .md for the full UST-vs-AST scoping discussion.
VA DEQ EDMA ArcGIS layer 104, "Petroleum Releases (Daily)" — one row per release case (combined UST+AST), keyed on composite (RST_ID, PCNUM). Full historical archive since program inception (98.4% Closed cases). Distinct from the sibling va_deq registration sources (registered_ust_facilities/registered_ast_facilities are tank registrations, not releases) and from the general spill dataset (va_deq__prep_pollution_reports).
Curated statewide BRRTS listing of activities where PFAS contamination has been confirmed.
EPA's SEMS Archived Site Inventory identifies former CERCLIS-NFRAP sites removed from active Superfund tracking where no further federal remedial action is planned unless new information changes that determination. The integrated Envirofacts API product emits nationwide site identifiers, names, address and jurisdiction fields, limited coordinates, NPL and non-NPL status, federal-facility and Superfund Alternative Approach indicators, archive dates, standardized address columns, and a SEMS_ARCHIVE flag.
Illinois EPA bulk export of active and inactive voluntary remediation projects enrolled in the Pre-Notice Site Cleanup Program and Site Remediation Program.
Statewide bulk extract from the Arkansas DEQ TankStats Access database, table TempRLUSTLOG1, containing one row per leaking underground or aboveground storage tank release notice. Records include facility and owner identifiers, release timing and status, substances, impacts, response and remediation details, and site location.
Statewide Vermont brownfields point layer with site identity, location, contamination, restrictions, and program status.
Filtered view of Vermont hazardous sites where a land-use restriction is recorded, exposing site identity, location, status, contamination context, closure information, and document links.
Voluntary Cleanup Program sites selected from MDE’s Land Restoration Program layer.
ADEQ's statewide ArcGIS inventory of sites participating in the Voluntary Remediation Program, with status, location, contaminants of concern, and affected media.
Statewide downloadable register of reportable oil and hazardous-material releases under Chapter 21E, keyed by Release Tracking Number.
