Environmental release status
The authority-reported open, active, closed, cleaned up, or other lifecycle state of a recorded environmental release incident.
Sources that carry it
7 sourcesAll leaking underground storage tank incidents published by DC DOEE through the DC GIS feature layer, from historical records through the present. Each row represents a distinct case number and includes open, closed, no-further-action, administrative-closure, and related statuses; the live endpoint returned 1,952 records on 2026-07-13.
Illinois EPA Office of Emergency Response incident tracker layer, including incident type and status, released material and amount, location, responsible party, responders, dates, and response actions.
EPA Region 1 spreadsheet of leaking underground storage tank releases on Indian land, with facility identity, tribal affiliation, release status, event history, address, coordinates, and land status.
Florida State Watch Office (SWO) oil and hazardous-materials spill/incident archive — the 'Hazardous Materials/Petroleum Spills (SWO Incidents)' feature layers hosted in the FL Division of Emergency Management ArcGIS Online org and published for FL DEP. 22,153 statewide incidents (Hazardous Materials 22,041 + Petroleum Spill 112), full historical archive reported 2011-07 through 2024-08. The two upstream layers (identical schema) are unioned into one source; IncidentType/source_layer distinguish them. Each record carries incident ID/number/type/name, status, county, dates, signed WGS84 coordinates, report URL, and (where available) facility name, address, chemical released, amount, and CERCLA §304 flag.
Statewide registry of reported leaking underground storage tank incidents with facility, release timing, risk classification, status, land-use restrictions, and location.
ADEQ's public, nightly updated ArcGIS layer of reported underground storage tank release cases, including suspected, confirmed, and closed incidents and facility locations.
EPA's national UST Finder ArcGIS FeatureServer (Releases layer, item US_Underground_Storage_Tank_2019), server-side filtered to State='New Jersey' — 16,816 leaking underground storage tank (LUST) release records covering New Jersey's full release history regardless of status (4,672 Open, 12,144 No Further Action/closed). This is a NJ-filtered slice of EPA's UST Finder Releases dataset, not a source published directly by NJDEP; NJDEP's own DataMiner LUST portal was investigated first and abandoned due to an hCaptcha wall with no programmatic bypass. Note: this data has been verified to overlap byte-for-byte (identical LUST_ID sets) with the separately-scoped us_epa__ust_finder source, which draws from a newer-but-data-identical ArcGIS item (UST_Finder_Feature_Layer_2). Kept as a standalone single-attribute source per established developer precedent (Integrations 216/294) rather than folded into the multi-attribute source.
