What U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agenc… offers
5 sourcesCurrent public jurisdiction-level ArcGIS FeatureServer behind FEMA's Building Code Adoption Tracking portal. It covers tracked authorities across the 50 states, District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories and emits jurisdiction polygons, place/county/state labels, an as-of timestamp, building and residential model-code edition descriptors, existing-building and WUI code descriptors, adoption and local-weakening notes, state reference links, and FEMA hazard/code classifications. The current layer contained 33,041 records and a uniform 2026-06-30 Data_Currency when checked. The schema does not expose a general FIPS identifier, jurisdiction-type field, structured amendment text, adoption instrument, structured effective date, or historical supersession chain.
Free public OpenFEMA API and reusable full-file distributions for all official FEMA declarations since 1953. Records include declaration identity and type, incident type and begin/end dates, designated state/area and geographic codes, incident id, and last-refresh timestamp.
Free annual full-file release of publicly reported U.S. fire incidents, distributed as zipped relational CSV tables with NFIRS coding documentation.
Current public v3 OpenFEMA dataset of redacted National Flood Insurance Program claim transactions. FEMA states that the product is derived from the NFIP system of record, redacted to protect policyholder PII, updated approximately monthly, and available through a public API plus reusable CSV and Parquet full-file distributions. The catalogue proposal intentionally excludes granular location, household, property, financial, and record-id fields.
FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer flood-hazard-area layer provides current effective flood zone, Special Flood Hazard Area, base-flood-elevation, depth, velocity, reversion, study, and source-citation attributes for buyer-selected locations. FEMA offers public GIS web services and county/state downloads; Datastruct's protected hosted adapter is an exact point-in-polygon integration of S_FLD_HAZ_AR and preserves the existing production Source TypeID.
