Estimate relative standard error
The published relative standard error of an aggregate statistical estimate, expressed on the source-stated percentage scale; lower values indicate greater relative precision for the same estimate basis and release.
Sources that carry it
2 sourcesAnnual OEWS release files provide employment and straight-time gross hourly and annual wage estimates by occupation for national, state, metropolitan/nonmetropolitan, and national-industry cohorts. BLS publishes the current May 2025 release, annual archives, coordinated OE text files and mapping dictionaries, and Public Data API delivery. Historical editions provide level observations, not an emitted growth rate; comparability requires release, geography, SOC/NAICS vintage, method, suppression, and pooled-sample controls.
Coordinated public BLS SOII product comprising the current Occupational Injuries and Illnesses Industry Data (IS) annual series, current Biennial Nonfatal Occupational Injuries and Illnesses Characteristics Data (CA) series, their code maps, BLS Public Data API delivery, and coordinated current summary/case XLSX tables. It publishes weighted nonfatal injury and illness counts and incidence rates by industry, ownership and national/state area; DART, DAFW, DJTR, other-recordable and illness categories; total hours and uncertainty where tabled; and biennial case/circumstance estimates by event/exposure, nature, source, part of body, occupation, worker cohort, duration and other coded dimensions. Annual summary estimates and biennial case estimates are distinct series within the one named SOII product, not separate Sources. Current 2024 summary tables use 2017 NAICS; current 2023–2024 case data use OIICS version 3 and 2018 SOC. Values are published estimates, not target-establishment histories; restricted respondent microdata are excluded.
