Consumer Price Index Public Data

Coordinated BLS public-data product for CU/CPI-U, CW/CPI-W, and SU/C-CPI-U. Series and mapping outputs pin population/family, item, U.S. area, seasonal status, periodicity, reference base, observation period, and series span; files/API emit index levels and the registered API optionally emits net and percentage changes. CPI-U/CPI-W are final when issued except rare corrections. C-CPI-U is national, unadjusted, and initially revised before becoming final 10–12 months after publication. No forecast, annualized-rate, publication-timestamp, or immutable-vintage scalar is emitted.
